Women start smoking early.
It is really shocking to know that women
are starting to smoke early then men. The survey conducted by Nepal Health
Research Council (NHRC) starts that the mean age of initiation into smoking was
18.2 Years of age for men and as early as 17.6 years for women. Though unlike
men , women doesn't smoke publicly, they seek private places and most are seen
smoking in a pub, disco and at the restaurant which are mostly located at the
gallis(Lanes) of the streets.
I feel ashamed seeing these women smoking;
however I can’t go and stop them from doing so.
I listen to their talk and mostly
due to relation break up, job search of loss, house hold problems, tensions,
peer influence are major contribution factors for them to smoke.
Many women use foul language and
it’s really disgusting to hear from those beautiful ladies, media has also influenced
and so do the media and party culture and the westerners influence had made
them accept these so called cool culture to adopt and enjoy – naturally falling
prey of many ill health problems and moral degradation.
