Impression Horrific (Mend the roads ASAP)

The Kathmandu Upatyaka Khane Pani Limited (KUKL) has started digging the holes to lay down the pipes of water supply to deliver the water from Melamchi project.

Well this is something relieving news for the thirty citizens of Kathmandu, but the roads should be mended as soon as possible.

It's really difficult to park the vehicles. One of my teachers parked his vehicle at my office due to difficulties to park at his home.

There seems to be the biasness of the government in mending roads.

The VIP roads from Maharajgunj to Lazimpat has been mended to its earliest and from the Thamel to Nayabazar as well as other lanes and main roads of the Kathmandu are in a devastating condition. As well as the roads of Gyaneshwor to Maitidevi is like the roads of the undeveloped villages – I'ts worst than those.

Few days ago while I was returning I didn't knew the road was in a deteriorating condition, I rode a bike, then as soon as I was on that muddy road, I luckily survived the accident.

I really see the pity condition of our guest i.e. foreigners – they are walking to go to their destination or return back to the hotel. The impression on them regarding Kathmandu may have an adverse effect for our tourism sector in a long run as they are the ones to talk about the country in the international arena.

The government should give priority to every road and should mend it as soon as possible. There shouldn't be any biasness in mending it as every road is of equal importance.

It's not that only the high profile dignitaries, be it a diplomat or any politician enjoying the well concrete black topped roads –the normal citizen travels most. So the government should give first priority to its general people and should be aware of its image that what other might portray and what Nepal could lose tourism potential in a long run.

why student choose to study abroad?

By : Moin Uddin

Opting to go to overseas or to just our neighboring country for studies and then settling there – making a living – is just because people want more and they think that those country gives more than his own country.

So it's not bad in my sense.

Yes, what has our government given to us? Being a student of the Prestigious Tribhuwan University and above all – the citizen of my country, nor those authorities have done much for settling our future by making a proper system in formulating exam policies and retaining the skills and zeal by providing the jobs and we can completely understand the laziness behind their motives and nor do our government had done any special thing to retain us in any other way.
Why does a child leave his home and goes to work – running – at an early age – why did s/he leave his/her parents? Who taught him/her that s/he should leave? It's all because of the circumstances s/he grew in – where their economic activities were declining and the lousy discussion everyday in their life made him/her choose that...

Similar is the case with us. We want more, to enjoy everything that others enjoy, so do with our education.

If our country doesn't provide then it's for sure one seeks another place to get that desired education.

Why a lover leaves the former beloved and chooses the next? It's because s/he didn't enjoyed the love what s/he expected or may be with much effort and all – s/he felt that by any means they will not get the affection and the mental satisfaction. So one rejects and goes to get love from other.

If we want to retain the burgeoning students and really sought to stop the brain drain, the government or the individual should give and do their best to satisfy and provide with what s/he demands.

The main thing that's the need of an hour is satisfaction. If one can satisfy his/her demands then no-one will opt for the next.

Pesonality of a Passsenger

Why people rush to the crowded bus and suddenly their personality changes  ?

I once wrote an article which was published in one of the daily English newspaper.

It's an irony. This will not come to an end or at-least people will complain but they'll never hesitate to get in the middle of a crowd or even search a little space to accommodate their bump on the edge of a seat –if they are lucky most will feel relieved to let their one leg in  holding the handle of the door.

Though there may be so called ideal passenger (only in his/her saying)  –you'll get to notice his/her true color as soon as s/he gets in a hurry –to reach a place if s/he has to meet a deadline nor s/he knows the consequences of being late.

Most of us are students and office goers (middle class) use the public vehicle more and as the clock strikes 5 in the morning and at 9:00 am and at 5:00 pm –one can see the rush.

The personality changes of a passenger – before and after – before – oh god, please let any of the bus come fast, it doesn't matter with the crowd, and I'll fight to get my leg in. After – oh driver, conductor, can't you see the bus is packed, how can we further so inside, you drivers are same, just start the bus and lets go, I am already late.

The solution can only be implemented by the government if they bring concrete policy with implementing the designed rules.

The traffic and the vehicle policy should be changed. If and until there will not be sufficient time and the interval of their arriving, until then the reform will not place.

Even so called having 'wisdom person' will fall in the trap of situation which will compel him/her to take that unholy step (though s/he may not wish) but according to the trend s/he will be compelled to ride on it.

One or two person can't change the mechanism, only the policy makers having high vision who have the potential to make reform in this sector need to take the charge, then only something incredible will happen, nor only the talks and words will take place and the  circumstances remains the same.

Great loss to the Nepali film Industry (Shreekrishna Shrestha)

Great loss to the Nepali film Industry (Shreekrishna Shrestha)

By: Moin  Uddin

The demise of the Nepali Superstar late ShreeKrishna Shrestha is a great loss to the entire Nepali film industry, and most of all his family and on top of that his newlywed wife Shweta Khadka is facing a devastating loss of his life.

More than decades ago too, ShreeKrishna faced with a major health problem and to the gods willing he survived and this time the Yamraj took away with him where he was having a great moment with his family and recently his movie was released "Kohinoor" and on top of that his life was going smoothly with his new soul friend .i.e. Shweta Kadka.

I am just wondering what's going within her. It has only been a month that they got married and suddenly he passed away without promising to return back. The demise itself is like the movie; however the termination is the reality. I am curious to know what's going through her. I can feel but what storm might have created and hit her is making me – worried.

I know, no any girl would want to face the same situation and I also pray that no-one face this sort of calamity.

I had also participated in the funeral rite of ShreeKrishna Shrestha and for the first time in history all the Nepali people throng towards Nepal Pragya Prathisthan and went along with him to the Pashupati Aaryaghat to pay a final tribute.

I want to highlight that, he never came into any controversy in his filmy career and never used the media for his personal interest like other actor, actress, models and others do. He was a man of dignity and according to the statement of all the celebrated people; he was a man of honesty. And the people coming to his funeral came because of his honest work.

People should understand that being honest to work and to ones words is only the item to make people respect you throughout one's life.

I just wish Shree Krishna dai rest in peace in heaven and god gives his family plus most of all "Shweta" – the strong power to face all those odd tragedy.

I am getting short of words to write.

Short Bio: I am a post Graduate student of Masters in Business Studies "MBS” studying at Shankhar Dev Campus, Putalisadak and currently, I work in Kathmandu National Medical College as a Computer operator. I have a passion to write and I’ve written a Novel book, and I am looking for a publisher to publish my book.
