This is with reference to your news report “Woman dies of ‘hospital negligence’” (THT, Mar. 26, Page 6). It is really sad to read the news that a patient from Syangja died in the course of treatment. Now, her relative are claiming that it was the negligence of the doctors that led to her death. Patients visit the hospitals for treatment and the doctors try their best to treat them. However, doctors are not god and all is not in their hands. It is also true that sometimes the negligence of the doctor cannot be ruled out. So, it calls for a thorough investigation in such cases to find out the truth.
