Review of the book "Phool Ko Ankha Ma"

MOIN UDDIN

I completed reading Phool Ko Aankhama by Ani Choing Dolma in just 1.5 days.............hummm......

I was all remembering my Grand dad, Grand mom, My dad, My mom, My brother, Friends and all while reading it.....

Though it's said that boys don't cry however i did as the stories were heart touching as it was related to my own. Though she has presented her dad , mom , her guru, and brothers relation the most and i was all remembering the days that I've had spent with my Grand dad and grand mom...........

For past nine years i am missing them and will be always remembering them as they have laid the good foundation of humanness in my early days.......

I am what i am because of the strong foundation laid my by Lovable/respectable/motivational/inspirational Grand dad ( Khalil Uddin) and grand mom ( Zarina Banu )

Days passes but memories last forever............

Prayer

By: Moin Uddin

It was 12:50 pm, just 10 minute left for Friday prayer. I was coming through Baghbagar and I saw a group of people carrying flags and were shouting slogans, I grew nearer towards them and later came to knew that they were the workers of Nepali Congress protesting against the government.

I was scared, not because of some unhappining incident were occurring as none of that occurred, I was scared whether I would be able to board a bus or not to go to my office.

I went at Nepali Jame Masjid, Ghantaghar. For 5 minutes I rested and at exactly 1pm the prayer started. In almost 15 minutes I finished my prayer and was ready to go to my Office Hits Fm to do my show.

Due to protest I was struck. I was mentally prepared to go there by walking however in front of me there was a conductor who was calling the passengers.

I asked him whether this bus will go to New Baneshwor or not then he said it will.
I went inside and again we got struck, the bus took different route towards Putalisadak, again there was a big traffic jam. I was scared as I have my show at 3pm and I've to do it live.

I prayed saying god to help me be on time to my Radio.

The bus went to the Kamaladi side, later went Naxal, Gyaneshwor, Maitidevi, Old Baneshwor and finally to New Baneshwor.

You know what, I was on time.

I thanked god for everything.

I was in a rush and in front of my Office I met my college friend Sahaj Neupane.
He was excited, I was happy to meet him after a long time. He was complaining, saying Moin the exam (BBS 3rd year) will be on Magh, I don't know whether it's on 1st week or the second week but it is announced officially, he said.

He was expressing his dissatisfaction saying he have to complete the course on time as he is the Account teacher at one of the school and pre send up exam was coming nearer so he was telling me Moin I've not practiced any of the subject of our college course and am focusing only to finish this school course. Oh god how'll I finish this course he said it to me and later said Moin , I am in rush and he went away.

I came to my office, did my live show "Cinema Hits" from 3 to 4 pm and it went GREAT

Life is unexpected and you know what, if you are true and your prayer is true then it'll be listened and it'll come true.

Attitudes

 Moin Uddin

Attitudes are describer. I mean they are the meter to measure you, Like, your characteristics, your values, your passion and many more else as the list can go up.

You are same person but you are seen from different angles.

You may seem loud to one particular person but next person may find you soft. And you may be good to one but other may perceive you mean. You may be perceived kind and loyal to the one person but the next person may perceive you as a cheat.

So, are we there to please everyone and prove that we are good and we are the best every other day? NO. How can you keep on pleasing so many billions of people around the world?

You can't be good always and if you truly do a great work then also people will be there to belittle you.

Our attitudes are same but due to various mindsets of various people we may be interpreted wrong.

Its better we remain as what we are rather than explaining it to the world.

How much we try there are at all times someone to give a harsh comment and it's their right to say that too. They are true in their own ways.

They don't know who you are and your values. They even have not asked about your passions, your hobbies and all.

Also they have not tried to look from your perspective. Had they for a while would have stopped and would have tried to look from your perspective than the scenario would have been different.

You are an achiever. Let other describe your attitude.

However be true to yourself and do follow your dreams at the meantime create your own value so that you can stand firm and be a star in your own eyes.

It's okay to be thorn in other eyes. But it's really painful when you perceive as a throne to yourself.

Never be bad upon you. You know what your soul needs, don't you?

Life ROCKX

No to corruption

Moin Uddin
Date:2068/09/02 B.S
I went to renew my Driving license at " Shram Tatha Yatayat Byewastha Mantralaya", Ekantakuna but got disappointed, I acquired the license for both the category( A and but they said that only A had been in their computer and B has not been recorded.

Two years earlier, i acquired the training and passed the trial of the car and got the license but due to their negligence, i was sent off saying that only A has been recorded. I submitted my form ,as one of the staff of it said me to submit it to the SAMITI and told me to come on Sunday. I didn't know which samiti they were talking about

This is not only my case as others were also facing the same problem and many have returned collecting only those that their computer showed. This is really bad. Our country has been one of the corrupt country and without bribe no any government officer are willing to do the sincere job.

This may be your case too. If possible then those who have acquired license for more than 1 category, i request you to at-least go there for once and check whether the details are recorded or not, nor this can be the headache both financially and mentally.

It's our right to get the state facilities genuinely. The government servants should work for the welfare of its people, not to seek and work for their personnel benefit.

We need to protest regarding this issue too. We need JUSTICE

Say no to corruption.

Most lives would have been saved(poem)

You know you are there
Trying your best to make it happen
You know that's your show
But behind there are many to make it go
You know they are crucial
In making your show goes great
But there are some people in your team who don't do their best
Show ends, you work hard
Come down with the heavy heart
You say to yourself
GOD why you give only pain to me
Why you give these kind of person to deal with.
And suddenly you see others work
And you feel that they did great
After someday you hear them chatting
And you realize that your show was great than theirs
This is only the matter of not getting the feedback on time
Had our people gave the feedback genuinely
Then most lives would have been saved.

let's be responsible

MOIN UDDIN

Let's take care of our-self, be it heath or any other things, nor the consequences have to be faced by not only you the entire generation will have to face the consequences as in science it is believed that the problem that you are facing now is the consequences of our ancestors, had they taken care of themselves then it would have not occurred on us.

Well if we do not take care of our-self then our coming generations will have to face the problem. Let's be responsible. Let's cultivate good habits. Let's live a civilized and humble life. It's just my request to everyone.

Really concerned

MOIN UDDIN

I,23, am really concerned about upcoming generations. Will we be able to preserve our culture and pass it safely to the coming generations? Had we tried to learn the cultures and traditions of our previous generations? I remember clearly when I was a child; 5 to 15 years were really good. I used to go to my friends home and used to celebrate Dashain and Tihar, they used to go to the temple to pray, I on the other hand used to call my friend on the id's celebration but now most of the youth know more about valentines day or any other such day but feel humiliated to follow our own culture. I am really concerned regarding the cultures and traditions that we are following these days. If we keep on following these all trends than one day there will come when our great grand children will curse us for not teaching them the good values and norms, They'll even be left stranded in search of their own identity and this is all because of us. If we not give a time to learn and preserve and transfer the learning's now then our "astitwo" will be cleansed away like the wind in the desert takes away the sand and cleans all the footsteps that the people walked there. Let's not just in the sake of fun and enjoyment for now loose our own precious cultures and traditions that we have and had. This applies to every other thing.

Be what you want to be

MOIN UDDIN

We want our life to be bright. We want everything to enlighten our life. Money. Yes, money. We are chasing money. Many of us think of earning a handsome income to secure the future or to say that we have a wonderful career. We have forgotten that there have been many moments in our life which we have successfully captured in our memories. Our simple gestures, silly fights, long debates, showing off, helping friends, and simple hugs and pats on the back. We have almost forgotten all these memorable moments that we have experienced just to embrace our careers. We have forgotten everything. Family, friends, siblings… their compassion, love, sweet words and harsh words… just to secure a good career.
My friends and I also want the same thing as others do — to have a bright future. Many of my friends have sidelined their education which is actually the backbone of their career — in the belief that earning money is building a good career. I know and have many such friends who are going through financial problems. So they had to take a job. It was not necessary for them to earn money, but it was necessary for their families; and it has now become their career.
In college, I have different groups of friends who are struggling and studying big fat books to pass the exam of the Public Service Commission. They desire to have a bright and secure future. A government job is a must, and it is the best. It may be true for them, but I think that experiencing life and exercising one’s talents is having the brightest and best career.  Can we say that thieves, burglars and bank robbers have been successful in securing a bright career? They have money, but what they don’t have is freedom. They are always chased and are also in the wanted list of the police. So they are not successful. To have a bright career, money is one part; but the most important part is freedom. Freedom of expression and presentation. Prestige, belongingness, social status and self-actualisation. If these parts are missing, it cannot be said to be a bright career.
Many big businessmen have huge amounts of money, but due to the above-mentioned factors, they feel unsuccessful deep inside. I have seen a big businessmen turning into a lyricist. He has a huge amount of money but lacked belongingness, social status and self-actualisation. In conclusion, to have a bright and secured career, satisfaction is needed in the real sense… satisfaction in what we do. Look for and seek satisfaction instead of money to secure a bright career and also to maintain a good relationship.
