Laxmi Sharma, The woman of hope

Today( December 27, 2012, Thursday) at exactly 5:31 pm, I met Laxmi Sharma, she is the first female tempo driver of Nepal (1982) and you know what, I was born 8 years later when she acquired the Tempo driving license. Can you think of it? She is also the first Female Vehicle mechanic of Nepal. Having gone through lots of challenges in her life she made a niche and is all herself by her hard work and determination.

There are lots of women that I've seen who lose their hope and start crying and also some commit suicide and brings their wonderful life to an end, which ultimately brings difficulty in others life who are associated with her.

Laxmi Sharma is 64 but her enthusiasm and working determination shows that she is like us (15-35). Will you believe that when she gave birth to her first child, her husband's Girlfriend came and tortured her? Later when she was 25, she left her husband and lived a struggling life.

She is the chairman of Laxmi wood Craft Udyog. She is an entrepreneur and also a singer. Having listening to her words and the way she interacted made me feel that she should start a revolution campaign where the agenda would be "Garau kamm banau Shaktisali" (do work and be powerful) especially targeted to women who have gone through low life and also those who are living divorced life.

Many women of our country ask for recognition and help but they themselves don't show up also don't try to make themselves powerful. Self esteem plays a role and confidence counts. This is also equally accountable for men too.

I am really thankful to all the circumstances that helped me to be with her at least for an hour and to hear her stories. Now I am sharing it with you.

I'll be telling stories of all those great people who actually have made themselves from what they were and what they are now.

I love writing and telling great stories.
