Ramadan is full of blessings (Poem)

Moin Uddin

Every year on the ninth month of lunar based Islamic calender
Muslims around the world fast from sunrises to sunsets in the evening
Oh oh Ramadan is full of blessings

It’s a month to rejoice and forgiveness
It’s a month of connection
It’s a month for repentance
It’s a month to get close to Allah
Oh oh Ramadan is full of creams

It’s a month where Angel Gabriel ascended to earth and revealed the word of God to Prophet Muhammad
And that is how the holy Quran got into its form
Oh oh Ramadan is full of weavings

It’s a time for reunion
It’s a time to cultivate patience
And also it’s a time to savour delicious cuisines
Oh oh Ramadan is full of lovings

It’s a month of guidance for the people
Who truly devote and follow the rituals.
It’s not only fasting from eating and drinking
But to abstain from worldly desires like
Sex, violence and sinful carvings
Oh oh Ramadan is full of controllings

Fasting can be physically and mentally
challenging
But it helps to grow spiritually budding
It’s a devotion to your creator
It’s a loyalty to your marker
Oh oh Ramadan is full of contemplating

It’s one of the five pillars of islam
Holding to it and living in charm
Thanking the Lord for whatever we have
Makes us blessed, rich and glad
The end of Ramadan marks the closeness of it
Bringing celebration of Eid
Rejoicing moments, hugging each other
Going for prayers and listening to sermons
Coming back and inviting friends and relatives
In a feast with lots of delicious dishes
Oh oh Ramadan is full of belongings.
