Moin Uddin
In this pretty sunny morning
I keep going back to the days when we became friends
That was a time when we were kids
And we met there in class one not knowing each other’s deeds.
You were cute and I loved it
You were smart that I knew it
You were pretty, full of beauty
All I knew was you were fruity.
I wonder how talented you were
We would study tuition together and I would gear
You would just complete your assignment and submit it to the teacher
I would just hurry to memorize the assignment and to move from there.
I remember your beautiful face
There were mole on your chin and cheeks
It added essence and I would stare and freeze.
You were amazing oh oh
I know how much you loved French fries and cheese.
I go to the time when there was a parents day.
People were seated and kept waiting to start the play
Slowly the turn of your dance was coming near
I awaited patiently to watch your dance dear.
I was mesmerized to see you perform
Oh oh when you came to the stage
All eyes were magnetized to see your dance form.
You were cute and I loved it
You were smart that I knew it
You were pretty, full of beauty
All I knew was you were fruity.
In this pretty sunny morning
I keep going back to the days when we became friends
That was a time when we were kids
And we met there in class one not knowing each other’s deeds.
